To develop leadership through active participation with the band, and through it, to strengthen those traits of conduct, thought, and idealism which characterize the responsible membership of the band
The Vice President shall, in the absence of the President, shall preside as the acting chair at meetings of the chapter.
The Vice President shall be responsible for the recruitment, education and initiation of membership candidates into the Sorority and the reeducation of current members.
The Vice President shall be chair of Membership Committee.
The Vice President shall be responsible for all Ritual items.
The Treasurer shall control the receipts and disbursements of all monies of the chapter, and shall submit recommendations concerning the financial policies of the chapter as may be required.
The Treasurer shall sign all checks for monies disbursed.
The Treasurer shall be responsible for the collection of the monies for and the ordering of all regalia.
The Recording Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the chapter and shall sign all contracts and other instruments of business incurred by the chapter.
The Recording Secretary shall be in charge of the chapter calendar and contact sheet.
The Sergeant at Arms shall take attendance, keep a written record of all excused absences and maintain orderly conduct at all meetings.
The Sergeant at Arms shall maintain records of membership status including active (good standing, probation, and suspension), conditional, inactive, associate, honorary, alumni, and life members.
The Sergeant at Arms shall maintain record of disciplinary actions (including resolution thereof).
The Historian should have the responsibility of maintaining a current written and photographic history of the chapter, it's activities and achievements.
The Historian shall be responsible for maintaining and updating the chapter composite, display board, scrapbook, and all shadow boxes and bulletin boards.
The Historian shall send out updated bulletins of the chapter's current service and activities, and be responsible for keeping in contact with the alumni of Tau Beta Sigma.
The Historian shall serve on the joint Big MO committee and, if necessary, serve as the TBS Big MO Chair.
